Heather + BUddy's emotional September wedding

I’m talking about my coffee date with Heather, when we met for the first time to talk about wedding details. We immediately clicked. I knew Heather + Buddy’s wedding day would be special, but I never could have imagined how it would come together…

It’s been about 2 years since that first coffee we shared. Heather + Buddy’s love story began at The University of Alabama and I was so excited to celebrate their wedding in 2020. However, the world had other plans. The future Mr. and Mrs. Foster prioritized their health and the health of others by postponing their wedding during the uncertain times of last summer.

After much anticipation and an extra year of planning, we finally got to celebrate!

Before the ceremony, Heather + Buddy waited for each other with love letters they wrote to each other. The ceremony was intimate, heartfelt, and joyful!

Heather honored her grandmother's memory by carrying her photo down the aisle, wrapped around this creamy bouquet.

The extra year of waiting only makes Heather + Buddy’s love story even more sweeter, and the celebration even more exciting! I even got a little teary-eyed as I photographed, thinking of all this couple went through in order to have their magical day. The evening light was lovely, and I enjoyed capturing this couple in color and in black and white.
