Today I have a special story to tell you about the sweetest couple.

I’m going to tell you the story of Sydney and JC Sanders. The Sanders faced hiccups and bumps along their wedding journey, but they never gave up on their dreams.

I met the Sanders before the pandemic. I cannot imagine planning a wedding in the beginning of uncertainty but that’s what Sydney and JC had to do.

Together, we navigated through the restrictions and guidelines for gatherings. We downsized the guestlist and had the sweetest microwedding. Our plan for their one year anniversary was to hold a big reception with the family and friends that couldn’t make it. Plans kept changing and we decided to do a one-year photo session in New Orleans instead. The week of our planned session, a hurricane flew through New Orleans and caused tragic damage. The Sanders continued to push through the complications surrounding their celebration and we traveled to Moble instead. It wasn’t the famous French Quarter, but we still created beautiful magic together.

I even captured the Sander’s love on film! Something extra special to celebrate their special love.

We strolled the streets of downtown Mobile and ended our session sharing beignets at Mo’Bay Beignet Co. It was a joy spending time with Sydney + JC again. I love the connections I make and the friendships that develop  through photography. I look forward to seeing the Sanders’ love grow for years to come!
