Frequently Asked Questions

How do you photograph weddings?

I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. Over a cup of coffee or a short phone call, we will discuss all the wedding day photography needs. On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the atmosphere, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details the details. I step in and give direction and guidance when needed, but most of the time I like to let the moment create itself.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Montgomery, Alabama and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I am flexible and always intend on meeting your needs.
For weddings over 100 miles from Montgomery, I ask for my brides to book and pay for a hotel room (at least 3 star rating) or cute airbnb about 30 minutes from the venue.

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

How many pictures will we receive?

I try not to put a limit on how many photos I deliver because I always choose quality rather than quantity and that''s why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story. For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you can expect to receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images.

What if I'm not sure if I want you as my photographer?

That’s totally okay! We can definitely schedule a coffee date to discuss more about what you can expect with Jinny K Photo as your photographer. I always try my best to get to know you on a personable level to see if we are the right fit. I want you to be 100% confident in your decision.

Do you photograph more than weddings?

I love photographing people one-on-one, specifically seniors, college graduates, and just people. It inspires me to be more creative. I love the time we spend exploring.
